Amateur Traveler Episode 428 - Travel to Paris, France

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure to be interviewed by Chris Christensen of the Amateur Traveler Podcast. Chris has been producing travel podcasts for many years, so we were tickled when he invited us to come on his show and give us a chance to talk to his wide audience. The Amateur Traveler Show is about travel in general, taking us on adventures all over the world. So did Chris have a lot to say about Paris? Absolutely! He asked very astute questions that don't normally come up on our regular episodes, so we recommend give it a listen.

You can listen to this extra episode right here or by searching for Amateur Traveler episode 428 with your podcatcher. Enjoy!

  1. Bonjour
I just discovered your website/podcasts after spending a month in Paris. But now I can listen to them as I try to keep up my walking as I did so much in Paris. I LOVE your podcasts. I noticed in the shop windows in the 6th lots of male mannequins wearing bermuda shorts with rolled up cuffs. And I saw actual men doing the same on the streets. I also saw lots of teens girls wearing short shorts. Not sure if they were all tourists or not. I loved the fact that loud, colorful gym shoes are in fashion. For the first time in Paris I wore my Nikes. They wear Nikes, Addidas and New Balance gym shoes. Be brave to snoop around – I was able to see the Cours Rohan in the 6th. It felt like the south of France in Paris. I was surprised to see organized groups of color co-ordinated (shoes and t-shirts!) joggers running around Paris and cross fit groups working out on the Seine and the Tuileries.

  3. I was so happy to hear the two of you talk about Paris, it is a city I could return to every year. I was also extremely happy to find another wonderful travel podcast to listen to and I am slowly working my way through them all on my morning walk. Thanks for creating Join us in France and thanks to the Amateur Traveler for helping me find you, great show!
