I get asked all the time what hotels I recommend in Toulouse and I’m happy to do that based on location, but since I live in Toulouse, you should know that I’ve never stayed at any of them personally. They look good however and there are so many, I think this list will make your life easier!
Apartments
These are places folks who are staying for a few days would like. Most of them have AC because you might need it if visiting between May and October.
Appartement de charme, Croix Baragnon, Toulouse
Apart Hôtel Clément Adler: near the train station in a renovated part of Toulouse. Easy walk to the city center.
2 bedroom apartment in the city center. Great location, AC, but alas no elevator and on a potentially noisy boulevard.
L’Idrac, 1 bedroom apartment very close to Langue Onze in the city center. This apartment only has 2 reviews as I put this page together, but it seems good.
Ô Toulouse, 2 bedroom apartment in an ideal location (potential for night partying in this area!) and only 2 reviews and it says nothing about elevator or not. I’d want to contact the owner before booking this one.
Social Hub, this one is not far from the city center (and the metro is right there) and in a mixed residential / business area. Has a gym and laundry facilities.
Hotels in the Toulouse City Center
Both of these hotels are right on Place du Capitole, wonderful for nightlife even though most rooms are quiet.
Hôtel Croix Baragnon, literally a stone’s throw away from the language school for Bootcamp folks.
Toulouse Train Station
This hotel is located near the train station, there are some restaurants around, but not as good for atmosphere as the two above.
Toulouse Business Hotel
Hôtel Mercure Toulouse Compans
This hotel is located near a lovely park, the Toulouse Business School and a couple of medium size sports arenas. It is a favorite of Airbus business travelers because of its easy access to both the city center via metro and the belt-road by car. The area is not as lively as the city center, but there are many lovely restaurants in the area.
